An exceptional pool with a movable pool floor at Hôtel Le Pré de la Mer in Saint-Tropez

Just a stone’s throw from the Mediterranean, in the heart of the legendary Gulf of Saint-Tropez, Hôtel Le Pré de la Mer now features a unique creation: a custom-made movable floor pool designed by Aqualift, the leader in tailor-made movable floor pool solutions.
The pool was designed by architect Michel Lefebvre. This elegant and discreet installation allows the hotel to adapt its spaces to different needs, offering guests a place to relax that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Our custom Liberty Movable Floors: Ever more ambitious architectural projects

Installed at Hôtel Le Pré de la Mer, this 13 x 4-meter pool is equipped with a double custom movable floor from the Liberty range, designed to completely disappear or transform into a terrace depending on the desired use. A swimming pool for guests during the day, and a beautiful reception terrace in the evening.

The pool’s finish was carefully chosen: enamelled lava tiles in shades of grey and pink, providing a high-end mineral finish that perfectly complements the chic and natural style of the hotel. A technical solution designed to offer both aesthetic appeal, user comfort, and originality.

The configuration of the movable floor allows for great flexibility of use, enabling the aquatic space to be quickly transformed into a relaxation or reception area for Le Pré de la Mer. This daily transformation takes place seamlessly, thanks to the robustness and precision of our Aqualift systems.

This project was carried out in collaboration with our partner Piscine Arrosage Lefevre, a renowned builder based in Saint-Tropez, recognized for its expertise and ability to design unique projects.
