05 Nov A swimming pool floor : The best use of the space available
Olivier Arrighi, President of Fidancia in Barcelona presents us his swimming pool floor:
I contacted Aqualift after reading an article in Maisons Côté Sud. Following a site visit to assess the feasibility of the project and draw up the plans, the pool floor was installed within 48 hours.
Throughout this collaboration and even ever since, I have really appreciated the company’s personal touch: you can really count on them at all times. Since we have young children, safety was a prime reason for buying a movable pool floor. Alarms, fences and pool covers are not only unsightly, but more importantly, they can be ineffective and need a lot of vigilance.
A movable floor pool on the other hand is 200% safe: when you close the pool, there’s no water and therefore no potential danger. I think that all co-owned properties should install them in their pools.
I have also come to realise just how great it is to have this extra space – our pool is in a small inner courtyard. In the winter months, whether the pool is full or empty, it’s a depressing sight: but now, with this movable floor pool from the Minilift range, it is hidden when we don’t want to see it, or we don’t need to use it, or when we just fancy taking a siesta. When all is said and done, it has proved to be great value for money.
