Surface area is the primary cost factor for a variable-depth pool. The larger the surface area, the more the stainless-steel structure and rams need to be reinforced. Aqualift offers pools from 4 m² up to several dozen m², with a water depth of 0.50 m to 1.50 m as standard for movable floors, although greater depths are possible if desired. A movable floor on a 10 m² pool does not require the same mechanics as a 50 m² pool, since motorisation and structural needs naturally increase with surface area. Rectangular or custom shape: what is the price difference?
A standard rectangular shape remains the most economical option. A custom shape can significantly increase the price. The rectangular movable floors from the Serenity, Easylift ranges rely on catalogue dimensions, which optimises manufacturing and installation costs.
Conversely, the custom-made Liberty movable floor is designed with no limit on shape or size: curves, angles, complex architectural integrations… anything is possible.
